Paint was the right color, and dried quickly between coats. Honestly, for my 10 year old car, the part I painted looked better than the factory finish around it, but not so much that you'd notice. I was just doing a quickie job to fix some damage from two of my kids having minor impacts. It did highlight, however, the importance of a smooth finished surface to paint over. Remember that paint doesn't hide surface imperfections, but probably highlights them.

The finish paint coat with the brush on applicator leaves heavy brush marks and does not cover the primer coat very well. A spray bottle applicator would possibly work better.

My project is repairing some small rust spots on my 2005 Honda Pilot and my wife's 2003 Honda CRV (We are the original owners). We live in a salt air environment, directly on the Gulf Of Mexico and combating rust is a continuing challenge. I haven't yet completed my project but I have tested the paint colors and the clear coat. The paint colors are exact matches of the factory original colors and the clear coat looks great. I had recently purchased a used Honda Pilot with some scuffs and scratches in the factory paint. I found Automotive Touchup online and ordered a touch up paint pen (according to my paint color code) and clear coat. I will admit, I was reluctant at first, thinking I would never be able to make the touch up paint blend to where it wasn't obvious that I had covered up scratches on both the metal body parts as well as the corners of the plastic bumpers. To my surprise, the touch up paint blended beautifully and is NOT obvious at all and the clear coat just sealed the deal ( no pun intended ). I would not hesitate to order from Automotive Touchup in the future. The products I received from them are of good quality at very reasonable prices. I'm SO glad I found them.

I used the touch up paint for my wife's 2005 Honda Pilot. The paint match was incredible. The only problem I had was the clear coat which I did not buy from Automotive Touch up. My wife scraped the bumber again so I'll be buying more paint and will try the clear coat. Thanks for the great paint.
