Restore Your 2003 Toyota MR2 Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Toyota's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2003 Toyota MR2 using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2003 Toyota MR2 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David S, owner of a 2002 Toyota Avalon from Danville, CA

Excellent paint match, good product. I am a novice car painter but very experienced in home painting jobs. Three spray technique things I have learned about using the paint: (1) the 12 oz. spray cans are better suited for small area jobs. I used them to paint the entire front hood, and it was difficult to get a perfectly even application. Next time I would buy a pint can and use my HVLP spray unit, (2) when using the 12 oz. cans, be sure to mix (shake) them for at least 5 minutes b/c the heavier "metallic finish" particles gravitate to the bottom of the can and can come out at the end and mess up the coloration, and (3) if you have an older car (mine is a 2002 Avalon), the original paint has faded compared to the new paint you'll spray on. So, don't expect a perfect match for these older type cars. Not the fault of the this paint; that' just the way it is.

Donald C, owner of a 2002 Toyota Avalon from Suffern, NY

Wow - I was really impressed with the color match - never thought I'd get a match for my daughter's 2002 Toyota, but you guys nailed it. I patched up the bumper where she rubbed a yellow bollard in a parking lot, and then used your spray paint - the match was perfect and you can hardly tell where the new paint blends with the original. And by the way - the spray nozzle never clogged! Thanks for a great product.
