Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1995 Mazda MX6 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Rick, owner of a 1996 Mazda Miata from GA

Very impressed with the color match on Starlight Mica. Touched up a few areas and unless you had prior knowledge of where those were you would never notice. Order was filled and shipped as indicated. Well packaged. I'll use your company again if needed and will highly recommend to others.

Michael B, owner of a 1996 Mazda Miata from Saint Paul, MN

My 20 year old Mazda Miata had several very noticeable rock chips in the hood and the forward portion of both front fenders. I went to the dealer and found that Mazda has long ago discontinued carrying touch up paint for these old Miatas. I was pretty bummed out about this as I know that red is a notoriously difficult color to match. I tested about a dozen off-the-shelf red enamels and none were remotely close to matching. I was online one night searching for a paint code for some wheels that I'm wanting to restore and accidentally came across Automotive Touchup. Wow! This is great, I thought. So I ordered a small bottle of Mazda "Classic Red" and hoped for the best. Amazingly the paint arrived nicely packaged and matched PERFECTLY. I mean it is a dead-on match with just the right amount of gloss. I've already recommended Automotive Touchup to a couple of my friends old sports cars. Thank you very much!
