Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1989 Honda Accord is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Howell T, owner of a 1989 Honda Accord from North Las Vegas, NV

The paint was great and easy to use your touch up paint. The color match the old paint. Thanks a lot.

Gary P, owner of a 1989 Honda Accord from Fort Lauderdale, FL

The paint was a perfect match for the original color on the car. It sprayed evenly and no spitting. Great product and fast delivery.

Kevin C, owner of a 1989 Honda Accord from Homewood, IL

Shipping was fast and the color matches really. I remember using the primer and base-coat. I also bought the clear-coat but I don't remember if I ended up using it or not. Now its winter and due to the weather it is a bad time to go put clear-coat on the car now. It looks good either way. Worth the money.

Cuong T, owner of a 1989 Honda Accord from Rosemead, CA

Great Touch up paint. The paint code match very well. Will be back for more.

Automotive Touchup has all most of the paint you're looking for. I was searching for something to match my Volks Gunmetal rims and this is it. It's been a long search for the paint code but u came across it on a forum and came here to order and it's 90% spot on. I like their brush in the touch up bottle with the angle brush. Unlike my Honda touch up bottle the brush is a straight cut which makes it hard to paint. I Definitely would come back again for paint and touch up.

Karen, owner of a 1989 Honda Accord from Florida

I have an 89 Honda Accord, mechanically sound, that had considerable paint pealing and rusting. I literally sanded the rust spots, put on the undercoat and sprayed the new paint where needed. The hardest part was the placement of the newspapers and taping into place. That just took some patience as to not paint the windows and wheels.THE CAR LOOKS GREAT!!! In a few days I will put the clear shiny spray. Even without this last step, it looks like a different car, believe me!! I am very happy with the customer service with this company. I received the correctly ordered paint in a timely matter. ( I had ended up with three orders as I went back and ordered more of the top coat.) I am a 64 year old woman, so age and gender should not deter anyone from wanting to make their car look soooo much better. Thank you- Karen
