Painted and installed lower front splitter on sons Mustang GT. Color coat gave great coverage in 2 coats then applied 5 costs of clear. Metallic in color coat is perfect match to factory paint. Paint pops in direct sunlight. Easy to use if you take your time.

The paint I purchased, for color match and to be put into a spray can, has worked tremendously. The color match has been spot on. The primer for plastics has worked greatly and the clear settles without issues. One of the best purchases I could have made. It has made it easier to paint parts rather than having to mix paints and hardeners and needing an air compressor. Instructions are great also, on the side of the cans. I will be buying more and may have got this site more customers from the stuff I've done and shown them the color match and convenience of being able to have such specialty paints put into an aerosol can. I followed the instructions about spraying the card. It took six coats to cover the emblem. Matched the car paint well.
Sprayed the sections of the car with six coats waiting between the coats. Put on three coats of clear the next day.
When buffing out the clear coat the color got darker. This only happened in one area of the bumper. Used heavy cut compound and took it down to the original paint. Used spot touch up in this area.

I am really pleased with their products (high quality) a perfect match to Ford color JV Sangria Red Metallic. I will say follow their directions to the letter and your project will come out fine. I noticed if you deviate off the horizontal plane when spraying aerosol paint, you will get sputter and drops come out of the nozzle. So be careful spray upright left to right motion and their system works fine. Turn your part not your can. Excellent fast shipping too!

The color is great however that doesn't mean a thing if you don't know what primer to use first. I was using a Sangria Red Metallic ( JV Paint Code ) and thought gold or silver was a primer color to use. After watching Bitchin Rides they used black before painting a deep red.......repainted for the fourth time with a black primer and bingo the color came out great.....so whats with all this hot air.......you need to give out the primer color as well.

Very happy with the color match. It was the second attempt at this repair. "Ford" paint from auto store didn't quite match and the repair was obvious and easily seen. Re-sanded the damaged area on the front facia and did the job a second time using AutomotiveTouchup paint and clear hi-gloss finish. It was a perfect match and now impossible to see where the repair was done.
