I do not usually e-mail comments about a product, but your
spray paint worked so well that I felt compelled to do so.
My wife and I both own Mustangs in the same red color. Hers
is a 2004 hardtop and mine a 2005 convertible. I have been
frustrated for years that although I could buy touchup pens,
no one offered this color in a rattle can. (I did find an outfit in
Britain that had it, but they couldn't ship it to the US!) At the time,
I didn't need the spray paint, but wanted it "just in case".
Well, three years ago I got a pretty big dent across the compound
wheel-well curve on the front fender. The Ford Dealer quoted a price
of over $700. to fix it, claiming the entire fender would need repainting.
I politely declined, but pointed out that if I could get a spray can that
I could fix it myself for less than 50 bucks without repainting the entire
fender.
I just left the dent and lived with it until I saw your ad in Motor Trend
Magazine. I took a chance and ordered three cans of Ford M7042A
(two were extra for possible future "just in case" incidents). Two weeks
ago, I finally had time to tackle the project. After filler and feathering,
my repair area grew much larger than I had anticipated. I told my wife
that I was probably in trouble, because now my paint would have to
be blended into the middle of the panel and would most certainly show.
Well, after clear-coat, color sanding, and polishing compound, I was
astounded! Your paint was an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT match!!!
No matter what the lighting or angle there is NO sign whatsoever
that paint was blended into the original paint in the middle of a panel!
Thank you for a wonderful product. I would highly recommend it to
anyone.

Paint was perfect match, however spray can nozzle continually clogged and splattered. Paint can was shaken per instructions. Used nozzle from other Manuf. can and worked fine.

Just bought a 2005 Mustang GT in black. The front hood had many little white chips due to rocks, etc. Ordered the small bottle of Ebony Black with brush in bottle and touched each one up. Color matched perfectly and you cannot see the chips any longer. I can always count on AUTOMOTIVE TOUCHUP to come through.

After getting prices for paint locally I searched online and found Automotovetouchup.com. I was a bit skeptical at first because their paint was half price of what I found locally. I ordered a spray can of base coat and clear coat just to see if it was any good. Mind you I'm not any good at painting and I was painting outside in the driveway with the sun beating down, a small breeze accompanied by a ton of mosquitoes and fresh cut grass. Given all this the two large touch up areas should have been disappointing but after the clear coat dried I wet sanded it and buffed it out stood back and couldn't tell the area I painted from the factory paint. I am extremely impressed and have ordered enough for a bigger job. Their product can make an amateur look good.

I had chips on the hood of my car from gravel. I have bought paint through the automotive stores. They never match the paint and you can tell where each chip was by the discolor of paint. I decided to order on line the touch paint through automotive touch up and I spent twenty minutes painting over all,of the chips. When I came back to put the clear coat on I couldn't find the chips! I had to use my fluorescent light to find them! A perfect match. I was absolutely amazed. My car a Mustang GT convertible looked like it rolled off the car room floor! Fantastic!

Very happy with this purchase. I bought a yellow touch up pen for my girlfriend's 05 Ford Mustang for some chips and a scratch. The color was a perfect match touched up the chips and scratch for a fraction of the price a bodyshop wanted. You can barely tell where the chips and scratch were at. This is the second pen I purchased for the same reason silver metallic was the other color for my 04 GT Mustang same results. I am sure I will buy more in the future.
