White is a hard color to match and you have to look very close to see the repair that I made to my White '91 Miata. I also ordered a green to repair spots on my the hood of my '97 GMC, and you really can't see where the touch-up spray ends and the old finish remains.

The touch-up paint was a perfect match. I sanded first with 1000 grain sandpaper and then covered the spot with paint. You could not even see where I painted. Found it hard to apply the Clear coat since I couldn't find all the spots where I painted. I waited an hour for the paint to dry but it was a cold day so I think only the top was dry in some places as the clear coat wiped away the paint. I'm going to let it dry longer and then clear coat again.

My 1991 Mazda Miata MX5 had seven or eight scratches on the front and rear plastic bumper covers where the white plastic was showing through. I ordered your Mazda Classic Red touch-up pens and clear coat pens. I was amazed how closely it matched the 24 year old paint on this Miata. When I went back to put the clear coat on, I had to look closely to find the areas of the touch-up paint. Your instructions recommended not doing any area larger than a dime. I had one area about one inch square and treated it anyway. It came out perfect. I submitted before and after photos of the rear bumper cover, which was the worst area of damage.

Excellent color match. I ordered touch-up paint in bottles for both my 1991 Miata (Mariner Blue) and 2007 Honda Civic (Galaxy Gray). Both colors the factory paint matched perfectly. That greatly helped diminish that "touch-up" look that occurs when paint shades aren't correct.
